Even if his way-too-serious new boss, Dr Jo Harris, doesn’t seem to appreciate his passion – or his long, surfer-style hair. But maybe Cam’s just the man to remind Jo how to have a good time…Orphan Under the Christmas TreeEight-year-old Bobby has just been orphaned and left without a home for Christmas! What else can psychologist Lauren Cooper and Dr Tom Fletcher do but take care of the little boy? Even if this means Lauren and Tom living together under one roof… Can all three find the family they’ve been looking for before the Christmas tree decorations come down?

Rating"Two emotional and sparkling linked novels dealing with the underlying theme of abuse with Mrs Webber as usual maintaining the right balance of medical and personal detail.
I particularly liked the small-town setting.
As always in a double book it is hard not to compare and "Cam" and Jo in New Doc In Town were my favourite pair - two fascianating and fun people whom you could identify with.
Tom and Lauren in Orphan Under The Christmas Tree were slightly more complex and took a while to understand but also pleasing. Perhaps just a little too much attention was paid to the orphaned Bobby for my liking but a compelling read nevertheless.
The author has handled a sensitive subject sympathetically and realistically.
New Doc - ten out of ten
Orphan Under Christmas Tree - nine out of ten "
