"A fast moving and exciting Regency written wirh the author's usual style and showcasing engaging and lifelike characters
However I felt the book was slightly too long so that the plot was repeating itself towards the end
I was also confused as to why the heroine would openly walk the streets when the danger of abduction existed - the villain had carried this out in public previously

"Couldn't put this one down. I was amazed at the constant attempts from Captain Blake and finding out little bits of his character as you go along was wonderful. I love Gentleman Starky or Stark it would great if he could get his story and have a happy ending after what he did for George and Jane. I loved seeing Justin and Lucinda and find they are expecting a child. I hope we find out what they have in the next book. I am looking forward too to seeing Andrew and Mariah have a happy ending too. I just hope the last book has a very full ending."
