"Mrs Way seems to have temporarily deserted the Outback this being set in Sydney amongst the socially elite set.
But as usual there are great characters, family conflict and there is an element of mystery which adds a compelling tension.
Personally I would have liked Sonya's background not to have been revealed so early in the plot but yet again another immensely enjoyable novel from this author.
