‘I simply require you to share my bed.’

Luca Barbarigo has lain in wait for three long years, and is now ready to exact his revenge against Valentina Henderson. After one unforgettable night together she left him with nothing but X-rated memories and the sting of her hand across his jaw. But those are the least of her crimes…

Tina has sworn she’ll never see him again – but you don’t turn your back on Luca Barbarigo. Now she must confront the man who devastated her armed only with her innocence… What will it cost her to walk away this time?

‘A wonderful read – beautiful settings, vividly described, strong characters and a great storyline.’ – Tracy, 41, Bristol

Flawed hero

Rating By R, 31 Dec 2012

The plot flows smoothly and there is a simmering tension throughout between the characters in this novel. The ending is particularly poignant. Tina is a delightful modern heroine but I found Luca flawed. Wanting revenge years later against someone who simply threw you over and moved on is surely just childishly adolescent and raises questions about someone's character. Notwithstanding I did quite enjoy this. Six point five out of ten

Good read

Rating By Lorna, 03 Feb 2013

This started out as a gripping story. If urging the first half of the book I could not put it down. I actually felt part of the story. But after the initial tension build up it lost its momentum. I had a long think about why that was and can say that the writing switched from detailed descriptions of emotions as responses to what is happening to more story than emotion. I would still recommend it as a good read. I would rate it 6/10
