About Tracie

I have always loved words and books. I can't remember how old I was when I first picked up a book, but it was Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree series that really got me hooked. At the age of twelve I fell in love with Africa after reading Men of Men by Wilbur Smith and went on to devour all his other books, then, in my late teens, I found the master storyteller that is Stephen King. I loved to lose myself in stories about monsters and the heroes who defeated them, set in worlds so much like our own, with dark and imaginative twists. I was completely in love. Even if I still can't walk in front of a street drain without the fear of a psycho clown reaching out to grab my ankle!

When I first met the man who later became my husband, he introduced me to a whole new world of fantasy fiction in the works of Raymond E. Feist, J.R.R. Tolkien and Terry Pratchett, among others, and before long the magic of their adventures had me hooked.

In 2004, after a lifetime of reading, I decided to try writing my own stories. By taking bits and pieces from all the genres I love, I started writing dark paranormal tales and, most recently, paranormal erotica.

I currently live in Australia with my husband, our two sons and three cats.
