About Sophia

Georgette Heyer novels formed my reading tastes as a teenager, lying in the sun on my grandmother's porch overlooking a wild west-coast beach.

My writing life, however, started in Bilbao, Spain. After having three wisdom teeth extracted I was given a pile of Mills & Boons – filled with strong painkillers, I imagined that I could pen one, too.

Many drafts later... I now think I have the perfect job writing for Harlequin Historical, as well as taking art tours to Europe with my husband who is a painter.
