The ahhhh factor

Rating By R, 30 Apr 2013

This is an excellent and interest holding novel from Mrs Power set in the warmth of a Greek island. The ending had the ahhhhhhhh factor and I felt so happy for Leon who touched a corner of my heart and was one of M&B's most evocative and attractive heroes in a long time. However while I was comfortable with Kayla by the end I was really frustrated by her attitude when she learned of Leon's identity which was almost neurotic and completely over the top even allowing for the betrayal in her past. They had only known each other a few days. Leon had already shown himself to be a solid character and not taken advantage of her and there was no question the circumstances of their first couple of meetings were highly suspicious from Leon's view - she really didn't deserve him! Leon's subsequent actions in the light of this were understandable. However, this was the sort of book which makes you realise just why you read M&B. Ten out of ten

Fabulous!

I always love Elizabeth Power's books but this one excels all the others. Just what a Modern Mills and Boon should be about, gorgeous hero, likeable heroine and fantastic settings! I can honestly say this is the best Modern I have read in a long time. Dialogue was fantastic with some laugh out loud moments and the end a real tear jerker! Read it NOW! Ten out of Ten
