"I was so excited to read about Cara and Pepe as I was left wondering about what was going on with those two in the linked book What a Sicilian Husband Wants. You don’t need to read the books in order, but what different couples they are! Pepe is the younger Mastrangelo brother and he had me in the palm of his hand from the outset with his goatee beard and piercing blue eyes. I loved his playboy ways and Sicilian arrogance! Flame-haired Cara Delany was a short, curvaceous delight and I warmed to her shy nature and Irish humour immediately. Hot seduction, steamy sex and dazzling locations layered with fresh, realistic dialogue had me turning the pages and It’s been a long time since a romance has wrung out more than one fat tear from me as well. Ms Smart managed to extract at least four and a lot of weepy sniffing. The Sicilian’s Unexpected Duty is a roller coaster of emotion that was brutal at points but, as a reader, I got the payoff in the end. No spoilers but you may need a hankie for this one. Superb. "

"The first chapter of this book simply blew me away - never thought I'd see a heroine shoot the hero! I think I may have even squealed out loud when Grace pulls the trigger. From that point I was totally sucked into the story. I like my Mediterranean heroes tall, dark and arrogant so Luca was to die for and perfectly matched by Grace. She's no doormat either. Sizzling sex scenes and the dark side of Sicily too - loved it. I can't wait for the next book to come out and find out what's going on with Grace's buddy, Cara. "

"India Grey does English settings and heroes so well and this book is no exception. Railway stations, snow and a forbidding castle by the sea set the tone for this page-turner. I read it far too quickly, alas, but I'm looking forward to the second part!"

"I read Her Last Night of Innocence in one sitting - couldn't put it down! An utterly fabulous book by one of Mills & Boon's very best authors. Hope it's not too long before her next one is published!"

"This book is exactly why I come back to M&B time and time again. Luxury, fantasy, passion, seduction and irresistable protagonists that draw you effortlessly into their world and story. Fantastic stuff and the Christmas settings (London, Paris and Cornwall) have me thinking about holly and ivy already. I loved this book but read it far too quickly! Put it on your Christmas list, ladies - if you can wait that long!"
