Rating"With a good old-fashioned plot and larger-than-life characters this was compelling and tension filled right from the first page and it was impossible to put down.
The dialogue had Mrs Marton's usual panache but it ended somewhat disappointingly when inexplicably the final few chapters fell flat.

Rating"Great read; loved both characters and the feisty heroine. A bit unbelievable that the whole plot covered approx a 10 day span. It felt a little rushed right at the end. Definitely recommend."
