Trapped by desire for the one woman he can’t touch…Rafael Chaves is a man tortured by his gut-wrenching past and tempted by a future he dares not even dream about. Knowing he’ll never deserve the only woman he’s ever wanted, Rafael will make sure she stays as far away from him as possible. But when Sophia Turino, daughter of the man who raised him from the gutter, stands before him seven years later she’s even harder to resist – confident, successful, and as intoxicatingly beautiful as ever. It’s time for Rafael to obliterate his darkly powerful infatuation…

Rating"Once again Mrs Tate writes a sizzling novel with great dialogue between the characters.
Sophia is a down-to-earth, modern woman and easy to identify with, however I somehow found Rafael's attitude somewhat irrational and at times distracting.
A worthwhile read though.

Rating"I enjoyed this as the story had me pinned from first couple of pages which always a bonus. Plus I find Natasha's style of writing really engaging which I look forward to when I read her books. However, I have to agree with Rubscale review, the hero was a little too irrational and it was bordering on the annoying at one point for me. Nevertheless, I still look forward to another story by Natasha Tate!"

Rating"I have to disagree with the comments that Raf's character was irrational. Natasha portrayed a torn man brilliantly and I just couldn't put the book down.
It's one of the best I've read for a while, the tension was sizzling, the dialogue was well thought, edgy and intense.
Brilliant book from Natasha Tate, I'm looking forward to the next one. "
